LENS FLARE ANYONE?

lol. another big thanks to :iconpredilectionstudio: for requesting this as her prize for being my 100th watcher! (don't any of y'all un watch me now :XD: )
Anyhoo, this is Dark Usagi and Prince Diamond (demand, demando, etc since diamond makes more sense really). I have a thing for drawing dance poses, and I wanted some sort of competitive interplay between them (hence the ginzuishou champagne glass, which if you ask me was just genius XD )

But I had a lot of fun with this. Of course, drawing the frame was a huge pain by hand since matching the sides was massively time consuming, and the bottom of the frame refused to be designed at all costs. However, once the sketch was down, putting the finishing touches on Usa's dress design and Diamond's sultry expression was the best part. I colored it on vacation in the mountains, where the altitude seemed to give my Copics permission to drip ALL OVER THE PLACE, which is the only time I have ever had that problem, and rescuing my poor drawing with the blender marker proved to be a mission impossible. I went a little crazy with the white gel pen and subsequently the lens flare and screen brush tools, but overall I think it adequately reflects the early anime overthetopsparklyEVERYTHING style which we sailormooners adore. and yes, I am aware her wrist has been stretched to the fifth dimension. That's what happens when you wear red vinyl gloves, rofl

My favorite 'wrong' couple.Awesome portrayal of the two. I've always wanted to read an alternative fanfic that gave me the chills like I got when watching their interactions. Beautiful movement and style.

Cool. I wished that happened instead. I would've loved to seen Usagi become Dark Serenity of the Black Moon family. She would've been awesome.
